I believe that the role of a teacher is multi-faceted. It brings with it the great responsibility to support, encourage, and motivate children all the while educating them. As a teacher, I think it is important to make an on-going effort to listen to students, find out how they learn best, and act on it. I love to interact and meet with people from different countries and know about their culture, their language, their heritage, their food. I am passionate about teaching and believe that the best way to teach is to create an interactive platform between the student and the teacher.

Hello, my name is Devaleena Ray. I currently teach English grammar and literature. I am from India and live in Kolkata. I have done my Masters in Finance from Manchester Metropolitan University UK.

I worked for 12 years with PwC as the L&D Facilitator. I completed my CELTA and received certification for Teaching English as a Foreign Language; since that time, I have enjoyed working with a wide variety of students across the globe. Currently I work as a full-time English teacher with International Schooling which is a Cognia certified online school. I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, and going to concerts.
